7 tech events to look forward to in Denmark in 2023

1. TechBBQ

If there’s something we look forward to every year, it’s TechBBQ. For two days entrepreneurs, investors, talents, innovative companies, institutions, organisations and media from all around the world gather at Scandinavia’s largest tech get-together.

This tech summit is all about celebrating the nordic startup community and tech ecosystem. Of course while learning about new technologies, networking with new and friendly faces and enjoying some good old-fashioned BBQ. What’s not to like?

2. Internet Week Denmark

There are two reasons why you should look forward to IWDK (Internet Week Denmark). First of all, it is held in beautiful Aarhus - the city of smiles. Second, it is a six-day digital festival that gathers more than 10,000 people to participate in exciting presentations, talks, workshops and debates about our digital future and all the digital changes.

IWDK usually presents three different festival tracks. Last year this was Green Tech, Entrepreneur and Citizen. You can expect that these tracks will ensure insights within new technologies, innovation and digitalization and the way the internet opens up for citizens and businesses. Sounds interesting, right?

3. CPH Townhall

Take 400+ fellow founders, company builders and investors, add some cold drinks and mix it with a whole lot of hygge, and you’ll get CPH Town Hall. CPH Town Hall is a series of short afternoon/evening events that are held throughout the year.

Expect a light but juicy program filled with inspiring fireside chats on stage, lots of laughter and honest tech stories about the present and future. This event is one of those I need to be there early to get a seat in the front-kind of event.

You’ll leave the event with a smile on your face and with lots of valuable, actionable learnings from Denmark's most exciting companies. Are you ready for the next CPH Townhall?

4. EOT - Electronics of Tomorrow

In the heart of the lovely Danish town, Herning, engineers, technicians, developers, machine builders and buyers all get together at EOT - Electronics of Tomorrow. This two-day exhibition conference is packed with talks, workshops, exhibitions and a whole lot of networking. All while gaining valuable insights in themes like IoT, robotics and connectivity.

5. OffDig

OffDig is a two-day conference which brings together around 1,600 people from all over the country to learn more about public digitalisation. This conference is, in other words, a great opportunity to explore some of the many opportunities and challenges that arise from the digitization of the public sector in Denmark.

OffDig is for anyone who is involved in public digitization: municipalities, regions, state and public institutions, educational institutions, suppliers, and consulting houses.
